Hi, I'm Norm Sleep and I teach geophysics at Stanford University. I collaborate with NASA people on topics related to life on the ancient Earth and on other planets.

In my job, I try to figure out how the insides of planets work. I study processes like asteroid impacts and the way water moves through planets. I want to know how these things affect the habitability of a planet.
